Total value of world wine traded in 2013 reached 25.8 billion Euros
- Less wine exported worldwide last year, down to 98.7 million hectolitres, but more expensive due to the short harvest in 2012, pushed total revenues to a new historic record, close to 26 billion euros
- The situation, though, changed during the second half of 2013, when a much larger production in some countries of the Northern hemisphere was anticipated
